Prelude/Time of Meditation/Opening Prayer Call to Worship (Responsively)*
It is easy to stand here in the valley of our comfort.
We know what to expect and what is expected of us.
But Christ calls us to the mountain top to receive a new vision.
We are not sure we are ready for that.
Place your hope and trust in Christ, for He is your guide.
Let us open our hearts to Christ, ready for the vision He places before us. AMEN.

What Is GAP26?
(Great American Prayer Event)
An initiative aimed at sparking a Third Great Awakening across the United States. It seeks to unify diverse communities through prayer, worship, and outreach to address societal challenges and foster national spiritual renewal.
“...I sought for a man among them who would make a wall and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.” Ezekiel 22:30
Psalm 2:6-12
New Living Translation
6 For the Lord declares, “I have placed my chosen king on the throne in Jerusalem, on my holy mountain.”
7 The king proclaims the Lord’s decree:
“The Lord said to me, ‘You are my son. Today I have become your Father.
8 Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession.
9 You will break[d] them with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots.’”
10 Now then, you kings, act wisely! Be warned, you rulers of the earth!
11 Serve the Lord with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Submit to God’s royal son,[e] or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities for his anger flares up in an instant.
But what joy for all who take refuge in him!
