Call to Worship* (Responsively)
Sing to the Lord a new song, for the wonders God has done.
The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will raise
up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king
and deal wisely and shall execute justice and righteousness
in the land
And this is the name by which he will be called: The Lord is our righteousness.” Jeremiah 23:5-6
Let us worship God, who reigns in justice and righteousness.
We light the Christ Candle.
(Light the candle)
Christ is the light of life,
sent to shine upon those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Luke1:79

Lord I come, I confess
Bowing here, I find my rest
Without You, I fall apart
You're the one that guides my heart
Lord, I need You, oh, I need You
Every hour, I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You
Where sin runs deep, Your grace is more
Where grace is found is where You are
And where You are, Lord, I am free
Holiness is Christ in me
Lord, I need You, oh, I need You
Every hour, I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You
So teach my song to rise to You
When temptation comes my way
And when I cannot stand, I'll fall on You
Jesus, You're my hope and stay
Lord, I need You, oh, I need You
Every hour, I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You
You're my one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You
