Opening Prayer
Call to Worship* (Responsively)
We gather today, surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses— those who have gone before us in faith, those whose lives still inspire us to walk in the way of Christ.
We remember their courage, their love, and their steadfast hope.
In their stories, we hear God’s faithfulness. In their lives, we see God’s light shining still.
We give thanks for the saints among us and the saints before us.
Come, let us worship God who calls us to be saints, not by our own strength, but by grace upon grace.
All:
We lift our hearts in praise, for God is making all things new! Amen.

Sending Forth “As We Go”
As we go, may your Spirit go before us.
As we go, may we follow where You lead.
May we live what we have learned,
Share the message we have heard,
And be a light unto the world as we go

Martin Luther’s emphasis on grace alone and faith alone was a revolutionary concept that challenged the prevailing Christian belief that good works could earn salvation. His teachings laid the foundation for the Reformation and the subsequent development of Protestant Christianity.
