After he was baptized by John,
Jesus went by himself to the wilderness
where he was tempted.

Forty days in the dessert, Jesus was tempted
to become relevant, spectacular, and powerful.

Today, we begin to journey with Jesus through the season of Lent, which brings us to face some of our own weaknesses and temptations.

Let us worship God and walk the journey together,
seeking the Holy Spirit as our guide and companion along the way.

If anyone would like to send a get-well card to our church secretary, Rita Siglin, the church office will be glad to provide the address.

At 1:00 tomorrow (Monday, February 19) ABW will meet for their monthly meeting that was postponed from last Monday. The leader will be Vicki Daney, and the program will be brought by Candi Kolteryahn. Bring snacks to share.

There is some discussion regarding starting a program for seniors in our area that would possibly be two times a month. We would be opening our doors for coffee and socializing with a program now and then and board games and fellowship. Please be in pray regarding 60 and up.
