It's the Sunday after Easter; the lilies are gone.
And we are alone with our faith
Thomas said: "Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands, and put my finger in the mark of the nails and my hand in his side, I will not believe." (John 20:25b NRSV) Easter is past, and we are alone with our faith.
On this Sunday after Easter, help us grow into the faith that we confessed and celebrated last week. Reveal evidence of your resurrection for the days when we feel that we are alone with our faith

We received $550.00 for America for Christ offering. Thank you for your generous giving.
Deacon Charles Brewer will receive the offering for the Deacon Fund at the back of the sanctuary following worship this morning.
Calling all women! Come and bring a friend tomorrow at 1:00 for the ABW monthly meeting. Rita Siglin will be the leader, and Cheryl Matlock will bring the program. Please bring a snack to share.
Coffee Hour (and a half) for senior citizens will begin on April 19 at 10:30 in our fellowship area with special guest speaker, Dick Faurot, our second favorite weatherman! (Steve Amburn is our first favorite!) Please invite friends, neighbors, and family. Our prayer is that this outreach endeavor will bring new people our way.
